Salary: £45,000
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a hands-on Security Manager to oversee the delivery of site security at a busy and customer focused location in Central London. This role will see you manage a large team of security officers in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for a security manager with proven experience managing security teams in a corporate location.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience managing the delivery of operational security at a corporate (or similar) site
• An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff
• Proven experience managing large teams (30+)
• Experience implementing security strategy
• A passion for service excellence
• Experience of influencing senior stakeholders

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Managing the delivery of site security
• Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
• Staff training and development
• Incident management and response
• Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
• Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
• Oversee the delivery of control room services
• Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
• Undertake risk assessments
• Liaise with emergency services when required
• Management of control room services
• Management of 3rd party suppliers
